Scheduling Appointments*
To schedule an appointment please visit our Contact page, or you can go directly to our Payment for Services page. If this is your Initial Natural Wellness Consultation, due to the extensive preparation put into each client’s case prior to your initial consultation, payment is required at the time of booking. Once payment is received, we will then email you a link to fill out our Client Information Form. Once we receive your completed form, we will then contact you to schedule a time for your consultation.

Due to the change in scheduling, with the current situation to only remote appointments, online payment is now required at the time of booking for all appointments.

Additional Consultation Time*
If the need should arise for extended time at your consultation, it will be billed at $18 up to each additional 15 minutes of time, subject to available scheduling. A follow-up appointment may need to be scheduled instead, if additional time is not available the day of your current consultation.

Payments
Do to only offering remote appointments, credit cards, PayPal and ACH bank payments are our methods of payment. Please contact us if you would like to make an ACH bank payment and we will provide you a link to an invoice that accepts this form of payment. All others please use our Payment for Services page. Once payment has been received, we will contact you to schedule your remote appointment.

Late Arrival
We are committed to being on time for our clients, your time is valuable, so is ours. If you are not available at your scheduled time when Dr. Karen tries to reach you by phone or FaceTime, and you return her call/FaceTime within 15 minutes, your appointment will still end at the scheduled end time and you will be charged for the originally scheduled length of the appointment. If you should return her call/FaceTime after 15 minutes, being that there will not be enough time to properly complete your session, it will be considered that you failed to give notice and did not show for your scheduled appointment and you will then be charged for the full appointment fee.

Cancellations
Should you find it necessary to cancel an initial Natural Wellness Consultation at any time after payment has been received, due to the extensive preparation put into each client’s case, you will be responsible for the full appointment fee. Should you find it necessary to cancel a scheduled follow-up consultation or any session, 24 hours notice is required. If you cancel without the proper notice, within 24 hours of your scheduled follow-up consultation or any session, you will be responsible for half of your scheduled appointment fee. If this appointment was part of a purchased package, you will forfeit half of your scheduled appointment time. If you fail to give notice at all and do not show for your scheduled initial Natural Wellness Consultation, follow-up consultation or any session, you will then be charged for the full appointment fee. If this appointment was part of a purchased package, you will forfeit your entire scheduled appointment. We understand that emergencies do happen. If this should be the case, please contact us immediately. We value your time, please value ours.

Refunds
Due to the need for clients to participate in their own natural health journey, we do not offer refunds on any completed consultations or sessions. For this same reason, we also do not offer refunds on any uncompleted consultations or sessions that are part of a purchased package. Please see our cancelation policy, above, for current scheduled consultations or sessions.

You may return unopened products, in like-new condition, purchased from our office within 10 days of delivery, when accompanied by your receipt. You will receive a refund in the original form of payment, once we have received the returned products. Return shipping is the client’s responsibility. Please contact our office for return instructions.

Products that are opened or damaged, or do not have a receipt, will be denied a refund. A product is not eligible for a refund if you decide that you no longer want a product that has been opened.

Insurance
Medical insurance is not available for natural health care services, but if you have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA), you may be able to submit your receipts. Please check with your admin for details.

Quick Phone Check-ins*
If the need should arise after your consultation for a quick phone check-in, the first 10 minutes are not charged. All calls beyond the initial 10 minutes, including subsequent calls, will be charged a fee of $18 for up to the first 15 minutes. If the call should run longer, it will be billed at $18 up to each additional 15 minutes of time. A credit card payment will be made at the end of the call.

If there are multiple questions, we prefer that clients keep track of them and schedule an actual follow-up appointment. Also new topics of imbalance, that were not discussed at you last consultation, will require that you book a follow-up Natural Wellness Consultation.

Follow-up Consultations*
Consecutive monthly follow-up Natural Wellness Consultations with a 6 to 12 month commitment are recommended, so we can have the time needed to work together to get to the root causes of your health issues. Once 12 months time has passed and I have not seen a client for a follow-up Natural Wellness Consultation, we will need to start again with an “Initial” Natural Wellness Consultation, as way too much time has passed and too much has changed by then, and we will need to start over from the beginning.

Email
We do not use email for client’s health questions, please schedule a follow-up Natural Wellness Consultation where we can address your concerns. Emails are reserved for checking our availability to schedule appointments and client’s request to order additional product.

Product Purchases*
Supplements and/or herbals are not included in the price of your consultations or sessions. Naturopathy supports the body from the inside out, instead of just masking symptoms. Because of this, we only carry and recommend exceptional supplement/herbal brands that actually work, with superior quality standards.

Product Support*
We do not answer questions or provide support for products purchased elsewhere, unless it was recommended by Dr. Karen. Please ask your questions where you take your business.
